Cost of Care
My House In-Home Care believes strongly in the notion that seniors should have the freedom to live at home as long as they wish. However we understand that uncertainty about the cost of home care can be stressful. You or your loved one may be apprehensive about the finances needed to pay for care. The cost of home care can vary drastically depending upon the care you need. Call us for a free in-home assessment and we can discuss if home care is right for you. If not we are happy to provide you with any information or resources you may need. Payment options with My House In-Home Care include the following:
Services are paid directly by you and/or your family members
If you are eligible to receive the Arizona Long Term Care services (ALTCS), Medicaid will cover the cost of your care. We are contracted with Mercy Care, United Health Community Plan and Banner to provide these services to their eligible members. If you are a member with one of these plans you will need to ask your case manager if you are eligible for the long term care program. If you are eligible, you can choose to have an agency caregiver provide the services or you can choose a family member and they can be paid to care for you. We will hire and train and help direct them to complete all requirements.
Private Long-Term Care Insurance
This is private insurance that you have been paying into. You can talk to your insurance company and discuss what benefits you have available to you. If you do have this insurance they often provide a lump sum amount each month to pay for in-home care.
